The electromagnetic flowmeter should be installed as far away from the vibration source and electromagnetic interference as possible. The transmitter can be installed vertically, horizontally, or tilted, but the full pipe condition should be guaranteed, that is, it should be installed in a place where the measuring conduit can be filled with liquid at any time. When installed vertically and tilted, the liquid should flow through the instrument from bottom to top. When installed horizontally, the two electrodes should be on the same horizontal plane.

Since the signal of the electromagnetic flowmeter is weak, the transmitter housing, shielding wire, measuring conduit, and pipes at both ends of the transmitter must be grounded, and a separate grounding point should be set. The converter part has been grounded through the cable, so it does not need to be grounded again to avoid interference due to different ground potentials. The signal line and the excitation line should be laid separately, and avoid parallel arrangement of the two.
