The intelligent vortex flowmeter is a new type of gas flowmeter developed by our company with domestic leading level. The flowmeter integrates flow, temperature and pressure detection functions, and can automatically compensate for temperature, pressure and compression factor. It is an ideal instrument for gas measurement in the petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy and other industries.

Main features of the product

1. No mechanical moving parts, not easy to corrode, stable and reliable, long life, no special maintenance required for long-term operation;
2. Adopt 16-bit computer chip, high integration, small size, good performance, strong overall function;
3. The intelligent flow meter integrates flow probe, microprocessor, pressure and temperature sensor, adopts built-in combination, making the structure more compact, can directly measure the flow, pressure and temperature of the fluid, and automatically track compensation and compression factor correction in real time;
4. The use of dual detection technology can effectively improve the detection signal strength and suppress interference caused by pipeline vibration;
5. Adopting the domestic leading intelligent anti-seismic technology, it effectively suppresses the interference signal caused by vibration and pressure fluctuation;
6. It adopts Chinese character dot matrix display screen, with many display digits, intuitive and convenient reading, and can directly display the volume flow rate under working state, volume flow rate under standard state, total amount, as well as medium pressure, temperature and other parameters;
7. It adopts EEPROM technology, which is convenient to set parameters, can be permanently saved, and can save historical data for up to one year;
8. The display instrument can output frequency pulse, 4-20mA analog signal, and has RS485 interface, which can be directly connected to the microcomputer network, and the transmission distance can reach 1.2km;
9. Multiple physical quantity parameter alarm output, the user can choose one of them;
10. The flow meter head can rotate 360 ​​degrees, and the installation and use are simple and convenient;
11. With the company's FM data collector, remote data transmission can be carried out through the Internet or telephone network

1.2 Main Applications
Intelligent vortex flowmeter can be widely used in the petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy, urban gas supply and other industries to measure various gas flows. It is currently the preferred product for oil field and urban natural gas transmission and distribution measurement and trade measurement.

Product Structure and Working Principle

2.1. Flowmeter Structure

The flowmeter consists of the following seven basic components (Figure 1):

1. Vortex Generator
Made of aluminum alloy, with a spiral blade at a certain angle, it is fixed at the front of the contraction section of the shell to force the fluid to produce a strong vortex flow.

2. Shell
It has a flange and a fluid channel of a certain shape.
According to different working pressures, the shell material can be cast aluminum alloy or stainless steel.

3. Intelligent flow meter integrator (principle see Figure 3)
It consists of temperature and pressure detection analog channels, flow detection digital channels, microprocessor units, LCD drive circuits and other auxiliary circuits, and is equipped with an external signal output interface.
4. Temperature sensor
The Pt1000 platinum resistor is used as a temperature sensitive element. Within a certain temperature range, its resistance value corresponds to the temperature.
5. Pressure sensor
The piezoresistive diffusion silicon bridge is used as the sensitive element. The resistance of its bridge arm will change as expected under the action of external pressure. Therefore, under the action of a certain excitation current, the potential difference between its two output ends is proportional to the external pressure.
6. Piezoelectric crystal sensor
Installed at the throat near the expansion section of the shell, it can detect the frequency signal of vortex precession.
7. De-rotator
Fixed at the outlet section of the shell, its function is to eliminate the vortex flow to reduce the impact on the performance of downstream instruments.

2.2 Working principle
The flow profile of the flow sensor is similar to the profile of the Venturi tube (Figure 2). A set of spiral guide vanes are placed on the inlet side. When the fluid enters the flow sensor, the guide vanes force the fluid to produce a violent vortex flow. When the fluid enters the diffusion section, the vortex flow is affected by the backflow and begins to rotate twice, forming a gyroscopic vortex precession phenomenon. The precession frequency is proportional to the flow rate and is not affected by the physical properties and density of the fluid. The detection element can measure the secondary rotation precession frequency of the fluid to obtain good linearity in a wide flow range. The signal is amplified, filtered, and shaped by the preamplifier to convert it into a pulse signal proportional to the flow rate, and then sent to the microprocessor for integration processing together with the temperature, pressure and other detection signals, and finally the measurement results (instantaneous flow, cumulative flow, temperature, and pressure data) are displayed on the LCD screen.
