I. Applications
The LG/FB type standard annular chamber orifice plate and flanged orifice plate throttling devices are uncalibrated flow measurement devices. They are used in conjunction with pneumatic, electric differential pressure transmitters or double bellows differential pressure transmitters. In metallurgical, chemical, petroleum, and power industry systems, they continuously measure the pressure difference generated by liquids, gases, and steam flowing through the orifice plate at medium temperatures ≤400℃. The transmitter converts this pressure difference signal into a proportional output signal, which is then used by a secondary instrument or controller to record, indicate, or regulate the measured flow rate.

Example: LGBA-16-80 indicates: a standard orifice plate throttling device with a net annular chamber, horizontally installed, working pressure of 6 kgf/cm², and a nominal diameter of Dg80.
