The working principle of a bubbler level gauge and its selection advantages

1. Working principle of air-blowing liquid level gauge
The air-blowing liquid level gauge has the advantages of accurate liquid level measurement, stable liquid level status display, and convenient on-site equipment maintenance. The air-blowing liquid level gauge is a non-contact liquid level measuring instrument that can measure liquids in open or closed containers. Except for the air-blowing pipe that comes into contact with the measured medium, the transmitter and other measuring elements do not come into contact with the measured medium, thereby protecting the measuring elements, reducing the maintenance of the instrument, and increasing the reliability of the measurement. The specific measurement is to insert an air-blowing pipe close to the bottom surface of the container, that is, the bottom surface of the measured liquid (zero liquid level), and then pass a certain amount of gas into the air-blowing pipe. When the pressure in the air-blowing pipe is close to the static pressure of the liquid column height of the measuring tube, the pressure measured at this time refers to the liquid level height. This type of liquid level measurement is very simple and applicable when the measured object does not require high measurement accuracy. The specific process is that after the instrument air source is reduced in pressure by the filter pressure reducer, a pressure equal to the liquid level value is output at the output end of the set valuer, and then it is throttled by the needle valve of the instrument and sent to the measuring buffer tank, and then blown into the pool through the measuring tube. The function of the buffer tank is to ensure that the air flow blown into the measuring tube is stable and uniform. When the pressure blown into the measuring tube is approximately equal to the height of the liquid level, the pressure value measured by the instrument is the height of the liquid level.

2. Advantages of using air-blowing liquid level gauge

1) The air-blowing liquid level gauge has a simple structure, is easy to install, has stable operation, is low in price, and is easy to maintain, which has great advantages in safe production.

2) The use of an air blow pipe in contact with the measured medium avoids the detection element being blocked by sludge. If the air blow pipe is blocked, it is only necessary to adjust the air supply pressure of the level gauge to blow through the blockage through the air source pressure.

3) The use of an air blow level gauge can transfer the detection element from the corrosive medium, which has a good protective effect on the detection equipment. Since the pressure detection element is moved from the sewage pool to the top, it provides convenient conditions for the later equipment repair and maintenance.
