Product Description

The BTLZ series intelligent metal tube float flowmeter is a variable area flowmeter based on float position measurement. It adopts an all-metal structure, has small size, small pressure loss, large range ratio (10~20:1), optional transmitter with HART communication function, easy installation and maintenance, etc. It is widely used in various industries in complex and harsh environments for small flow, low flow rate, and various harsh media conditions.

Measurement and process control. The BTLZ series of intelligent metal tube float flowmeter products have a variety of measurement forms for users to choose from according to different user needs and different occasions: according to the output form, there are local indication type, remote transmission output type, and control alarm type; according to the explosion-proof requirements, it can be divided into three types: ordinary type, intrinsically safe type, and isolated explosion-proof type.

The BTLZ series intelligent metal tube float flowmeter adopts the internationally advanced Honeywell non-contact and non-hysteresis magnetic sensor for detecting magnetic field angle changes, and is equipped with a high-performance MCU, which can realize LCD display: instantaneous flow, cumulative volume, loop current, ambient temperature, damping time, and small signal removal volume. Optional 4~20mA remote transmission output (with HART communication), pulse output, upper and lower limit alarm output and other functions. This type of intelligent signal transmitter has high accuracy and reliability, can completely replace imported instruments of the same type, and has the characteristics of high cost performance, online parameter calibration, power-off protection, etc.

The design and production of the BTLZ series intelligent metal tube float flowmeter also takes into account the user's process flow requirements, and there are optional installation methods such as bottom in and top out, top in and bottom out, side in and side out, bottom in and side out, and horizontal installation.

 

Structure and Principle

The BTLZ series intelligent metal tube float flowmeter consists of two parts:

There are four types of liquid-contacting materials for the sensor: stainless steel, Hastelloy, titanium, stainless steel lined FEP; users can choose different liquid-contacting materials according to different process pressures and medium corrosive requirements to meet the needs of process pressure resistance and medium corrosion resistance.

According to different measurement requirements, users can choose different indicator combinations when selecting models to achieve different measurement requirements. For specific indicator forms and their corresponding functions, see the indicator type spectrum. The flow measurement is completed by the transmitter in the indicator through the coupling magnet to sense the change of the float position to complete the flow indication and signal remote transmission. When the measured medium flows through the measuring tube from bottom to top, the float is relatively still at a certain position when the gravity, buoyancy and fluid velocity push the float vertically upward. This position changes with the annular gap area between the float and the cone tube and the fluid velocity. The position of the float corresponds to the flow rate of the measured medium.

A variety of instantaneous flow and cumulative units are available. After the unit is switched, the range is automatically converted.

2. The upper row can switch to display: instantaneous flow, loop current, instantaneous flow percentage, cumulative small signal cut-off, damping time, current ambient temperature, pointer rotation angle and other information, and can display commonly used symbols and engineering units. At this time, it does not affect the display of the lower row of cumulative and instantaneous flow simulation bars.

3. The flow range of the instantaneous flow displayed by the LCD can be corrected online on site according to the different on-site measurement media.

4. The power consumption of the double-row LCD display is micro-ampere level, which meets the intrinsic safety explosion-proof requirements.

5. Accuracy: < ±0.5%, temperature drift: < ±0.1%/10℃.

6. Perfect power-off protection function. When power is off, the current cumulative flow can be saved (the cumulative sampling cycle is 0.3S), and an advanced six-level data backup mechanism is adopted, making the possibility of data loss very small.

7. The LCD display can be backlit, and a three-wire power supply is used at this time.

8. The transmitter can output: two-wire, 4-20mA signal, and it has nothing to do with whether it has an LCD display function.

9. Support battery power supply function, use different types of rechargeable batteries or disposable lithium batteries, according to different applications, normal work 12-24 months.

10. No need to open the cover, use the magnetic pen operation method, and also retain the ordinary buttons. (Customized according to customer requirements)

11. It can communicate with the host computer software or handheld device through the HART protocol. The host computer uses HARTmodem to connect to the instrument, and can dynamically monitor the instantaneous flow, cumulative volume, loop current, instantaneous volume percentage, etc. (only for two-wire 4-20mA instruments with HART communication function).

12. Through the HART protocol, the handheld device or host computer software can be used to perform partial or full configuration operations on the flow meter (only for two-wire 4-20mA instruments with HART communication function).

13. All parameters without HART function and common parameters with HART function can be set through the four buttons on the flow meter.
