  • The working principle of thermocouple is that two different conductors A and B are connected together to form a closed loop. When there is a temperature difference between the two ends of the closed loop, a thermoelectric potential will be generated in the loop. This phenomenon is called thermoelectric effect. Thermocouple measures temperature by measuring the thermoelectric potential. The measuring instrument (secondary instrument) displays the corresponding temperature value based on the thermoelectric potential.

Thermocouple thermometers are installed on-site and are suitable for measuring medium and high temperatures. They are industrial instruments for on-site detection and process control. They can be used to directly measure the temperature of gases, liquids, steam media and solid surfaces in the range of 0~1300℃ in various production processes. Thermocouple thermometers are divided into armored, assembled, explosion-proof and integrated types. The characteristics of its products are as follows:

1. The armored thermocouple has a short thermal response time and reduces dynamic errors; it can be bent and installed for use: a large measuring range; high mechanical strength and good pressure resistance;

2. The assembled thermocouple is easy to assemble and replace; the compression spring type temperature sensing element has good seismic performance: a large temperature measurement range; high mechanical strength and good pressure resistance;
